Induction Pipe Development.

Further to our memo. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation}19/KW.10.4.35. in which we ask for a modification to pattern etc. of Ex.18310. When the necessary castings have been made, we would like to make further use of this pattern by the modification shown on Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1914. It is as well to mention that we would like a pair of induction pipes making, in each case where the angle between inlet ports and carburetter throttle is 47°, as we want as soon as possible to run comparative tests on the SpectreCodename for Phantom III engine. For this purpose we will have made the necessary adaptors for fitting these pipes to the existing SpectreCodename for Phantom III cylinder head, and we will send sketches later.

Also, you are making a four port induction pipe, Ex.18316. We would like two of these pipes rushing through together, as a similar modification to that mentioned can be carried out in this case to the existing induction pipe (Ex.18316).

Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/C.T. Salt.
