To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from ROY.{Sir Henry Royce}

-------------

You will recollect we have discussed with Mr. Hack, of the Rudge-Whitworth Company, Coventry, their developments in Italy with Racing car wheels to which Aluminium Alloy rims had been fitted in place of the usual Steel. He now writes as copy attached.

They will gladly obtain sample, or samples, for us if we will let them know the size.

Do you think it would be advisable to build up a set for a Bentley chassis in an R.R.Alloy?

As this would delay matters, if we are interested, probably it would be advisable for them to let us have an initial set in Duralumin.

ROY{Sir Henry Royce}

ENCLOSURE. Copy of letter.
