Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letter of the 9th. instant, and regret to note your first paragraph, as we have not as yet had the opportunity of submitting to you either costs or other details of our product. With regard to capacities, weights and performance we would like to say we can guarantee these batteries to be equal to any lead acid battery, and that in the majority of cases we can show the user as well as the manufacturer a considerable saving in weight. With regard to the cost we of course must admit that the cost of our batteries is much higher than Lead Acid, but against this it should not be forgotten that the battery which we offer would have a life as long as that of a Rolls Royce car itself, and judging from the number of vehicles which we see in operation of your make throughout the country, some of these appear to have been up to 21 years old, which speaks very highly of your product, and we have every confidence our batteries would show up equally as well.
