20/25 CHASSIS (D.2 SERIES) DYNAMO.

The new dynamo to R.R.Sch .481 has not yet been produced by RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} so we have no experience at all of the running of the dynamo either on the bench or on the road.

It is true we have tested a similar machine to R.R.Sch.344 but this machine did not have stamped slotted armature plates as on the R.R.Sch.481 machine.

In any case we have no road experience of the R.R.Sch.344 dynamo.

We are pressing for the new dynamo to be made up for us, but, although we appreciate reasons given for doing so, we cannot agree to issue a standardisation sheet in the present circumstances.
