-3- 25/30 & WRAITH. (1) FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies} to complete petrol consumption tests to bring 25/30 gear ratio to same revs. per mile as Chevrolet. (2) Swdl.{Len H. Swindell} will report on 25/30 cylinder head with the water nearer the valves which should include larger valves. (3) Ll.Smith should experiment with a prop. shaft damper with an aluminium hub. (4) FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer} should conduct tests on GAE.20 for steering joggles when it comes out of the shop fitted with a Marles steering. (5) Swdl.{Len H. Swindell} should urge small induction pipe for road tests. (6) CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation} should get consumption figures for the deturbulated cylinder head with increased adv ignition part throttle openings. (7) Les.{Ivan A. Leslie} should go into the costs for producing the Wraith rear road springs. He should submit to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} a complete analysis of the cost of our existing springs. BENTLEY. 3 Biv and Cleanliness (1) Wst. will get a set of Champion plugs and Swdl.{Len H. Swindell} will run these on the test bed to find the hottest plug which we can use without running in pre-ignition on both the Bentley and 25/30. (2) Mths.{Reg Matthews} will arrange with FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies} for an oil consumption test to be run on the road to see whether they corroborate the bench tests on high pressure rings. (3) Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} will submit a standardisation sheet to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} for the improved parts on 6-B-IV Exhaust System. (4) Les.{Ivan A. Leslie} will arrange for Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} to try the Citroen car before the body is fitted. G.I.D and Filler Cap Axle control - Wym{G.
