EFC. WB.{Mr Brazier/Mr Bell}31. X4054 15.7.25. X. 4198a. X. 4054 CONDENSER EARTHING SCHEME AND CAM LUBRICATED WITH PAD. These two experimental items were fitted at the same time to chassis GF.68 and later 8-GIII and have completed 11490 miles to date. With regard to the positive earthing of the condenser case, no appreciable difference was observed in the performance and condition of the platinum points compared with standard. The cam pad is not now considered necessary if we ultimately standardise bone grey fibre blocks. The condition of the cam was good and the rubbing block well lubricated. HEW. | ||
