[Routing slip, struck through] To PN.{Mr Northey} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} c. to EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} [Handwritten notes] gfe x3545 [Reference] Hsl/LG22.7.20. [Stamp] E C 2 RECEIVED JUL 22 1920 [Subject line and associated notes] X.3545 [Struck through] X.295 RE AXLE FOR CAR. X.3922 [Struck through] [Body] We have a low geared axle available to fit on to a car. We should like to fit this either to Mr. Northey's car but in case this is not convenient we suggest it might be fitted to Mr. Hanbury's car. We should also like to fit to either of these cars a Smith Dynamo. Will you please let us know what suggestions you have to make as regards getting 'these parts' [handwritten insertion] 'that' [struck through] fitted to cars used in London so that we can get Sales Depts' criticisms before standardisation.
