| x762 To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Ewg.6/KW.17.3.36. Attached is a rough drawing of a scheme which we are anxious to try out. It is an oil replenishing scheme for E.R. Hall's car, whereby as the sump oil level decreases the float drops and opens 2 sleeve valves; in other words, as the float drops, ports 'A' on the outer sleeve come into line with ports 'B' on inner barrel, and so let oil in bore 'C' run out into the sump. Will you please have this scheme properly drawn up and the necessary pieces instructed. Arrangement drawing number for standard scheme is SB.{Mr Bull/Mr Bannister}1195.
