SALES DIRECTOR'S OFFICE. 15th July, 1935. Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Ld., DERBY. Attention of Mr. W.A.Rowbotham. Dear Sirs, Our Fitting Department duly installed Jackalls on the 25 H.P. Rolls-Royce Car which you so kindly left with us last week and we trust that your driver was able to deliver the car back to you in time for your esteemed requirements. You will note that, as arranged, steel piping was substituted for the Lockheed rubber tubing, together with the new control box which is smaller and neater than the earlier design which we have had the pleasure of supplying. We shall appreciate your criticisms of the set in due course. Meanwhile, we shall be pleased to arrange for our Jackall Engineer, Mr. Bowman, to visit you at any time to suit your convenience, for the purpose of explaining the advantages of the new control box design when he will, at the same time, submit to you sample jack which has been prepared in your special alloy. We may say that the writer criticised the latter on account - | ||
