CONTINUATION NO. 1.

account of the fact that in our sample the jack foot was made of standard material. We are quite sure that it is your wish to have these jacks made as far as possible entirely in your special alloy - especially as the weight of the metal in the foot is appreciable as compared with the jack tubing. Instructions have, therefore, been given accordingly.

We have also made up two sets of Bentley brackets in this alloy, but the advantage in weight - as compared with the standard aluminium design is infinitesimal and, bearing in mind that the cost is so much in excess of the latter, we are wondering whether this point weighs with you. Perhaps you will kindly let us have your observations.

Thanking you in anticipation.

Yours faithfully,
For S.SMITH & SONS (Motor Accessories) LTD.
