Proposing alternative induction pipe designs for the Bentley III engine for comparative testing.

When this design was made, our suggestions were put forward, (based on past experience) so that the following drawings represent alternatives. It is intended therefore, that the two sets of induction pipes should be produced at the same time, so that they can be tested side by side, and thus directly compared. If this plan can be adhered to, it will facilitate the general development of Bentley III engine considerably, for the following reason. Assume that the first Bentley III engine becomes available for test with only the induction pipes available as designed, then half our tests have to be repeated when the second set of pipes come through.
