Re. Electric Petrol Gauge.

We thank you for your letter of the 21st inst., and are laying out a tank unit for your 18 gallon tank, and will forward a print for your approval as soon as it is ready.

With regard to your proposal concerning the meter, we are going very carefully into this question, and will keep you fully advised on this matter.

Concerning the sample for your 18 gallon tank, we agree that our best course would be to forward you a similar type of instrument to that already supplied, and we shall be only too pleased to send a representative to Derby to assist in the calibration of the dial, if this meets with your approval.

We very much regret to inform you that the Ammeter you forwarded us has arrived slightly damaged, the pointer registering 8 amperes on the discharge side without current flowing, and we find it is not possible to correct this by the zero adjustment.
