- 2 - from William Arnold. Manchester. Another fault I have to report is that on a fairly full right hand lock, there is a lump in the steering. I noticed this the first time when Mr. Waldron was with me, and I made a hairpin turn at the bottom of Kingsway. Since Mr. Waldron's visit, I have taken the opportunity of trying two or three cars which have been in my works, and none of these have the above named troubles. In conclusion if I may say so, I do not think that a driver of a Rolls-Royce chassis should be told that the throttle lever should be kept in the closed position, and that when pulling up he mustremember to open his throttle, so that the engine will not stall. Hoping you will have this matter put right immediately, and thanking you in anticipation. Yours sincerely, PS. I notice that the handbrake is not very powerful, and although I appreciate that this controls the rear wheels only, I should like to know if it is up to standard. | ||
