Referring to your remarks re prints from my department in a memo. on front springs, we sent away at the weekend several prints which you probably had not received at the time of writing your memo. We have not sent out many new designs for the last 3 weeks, for the reason that we were working on the new stuff for EAC.4. and we got it forward near to a stage when it might be sent away when we broke down on it in order to take up the new servo on EAC.3. which has since fully occupied us. These drawings on EAC.4. are therefore lying in a partly dim finished state until we can take them up again.

We have 7 or 8 large drawings for EAC.3. servo now ready which we hoped to send you today but I amafraid it will now be tomorrow before they get off. It is not for want of working at them that we have not sent you more prints as we have been working til 9 o'c for some time past, and Saturday afternoons and all Sundays, but an apparent gap in despatch of prints has been caused by going from EAC.4. to EAC.3.

The new front brake axle with improvements has also been standing while EAC.2. and 4. and now EAC.3. have been worked on.
