Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}S/ML. 9.4.40. C.H.Stephenson,Esq., Messrs Wilmot Breedon Ltd., Eastern Works, Camden Street. Birmingham. 1. Dear Mr. Stephenson, Thank you for your letter of the 5th. April. I believe that we must still go ahead with the hydrogen brazing tests because our recent design investigations show that with two overriders we really do not want a motif in the centre of the bumper bar. It makes it look overcrowded. I think we will actually make one up to Exp.6178/C with, of course, the overriders made narrow and less obtrusive, so that we can study the effect full scale on a car, but I would be glad if you would try hydrogen brazing in parallel. Yours sincerely, | ||
