Handwritten note: What hour & age was specified?

Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr. Robotham.

Regarding your order 98163 for 2 Front and 2 Rear 40/50 HP Springs. We wish to inform you that we are unable to fix the clips in the same position as the standard springs owing to the number of plates being less.

We have enclosed a rough sketch showing the number of plates, lengths, and Clip Centres etc., which we propose to adopt for the above springs and if the position of the Clip Centres are not satisfactory, we should be pleased if you would give us alternative positions which would meet your requirements.

Yours faithfully,
THOS. FIRTH & SONS, LIMITED.

Director.

Handwritten note: Specification of these springs given in #7410
