-2- RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}6/MR.13.6.39. We have just completed a few simple parts designed by Hdy.{William Hardy} to provide clutch operation assistance on O.B.IV. This scheme is an oil relay and will provide information quickly whether the variations in oil pump leakages and the variations due to change of viscosity of the oil adversely affect such a scheme. Secondly, we have been told by Olley that Chevrolet have the best vacuum assisted change speed in the States. We shall try one of these as soon as possible. We shall then be able to decide with which scheme to go ahead for incorporation as an improvement to the existing transmission. RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} | ||
