1349 1380 S/W. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Bly{B. W. Bleaney - Bentley Sales}8/SM. 4.8.39. Thank you for your memo. I am passing the information on to the Owner, Mr. H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} S. F.{Mr Friese} Hay and suggesting he should run the car with tyre pressure at 35 lbs. per square inch. He appears to be a most careful driver, in fact he has not let anyone touch the car since he purchased it. He is absolutely 100% RR. at the moment and I think we have sold it to the right person. I am very interested to hear of your runs on the other car which certainly seems as if it has got performance. I should think your run to Kings Lynn must be a record for the journey as I believe it is a difficult cross-country run. It is a great pity we cannot get Briggs Cunningham on to a car like this and stop all this rot about Lagondas making a special model. Bly.{B. W. Bleaney - Bentley Sales} | ||
