X.3918 RE/ VISIT TO AMERICA. X.3764

Owing to the sailing of the "Imperator" (which was to have sailed on the 27th. inst.) being postponed, my passage has now been transferred to the "Celtic" which sails on the 24th. November.

The car must be in Liverpool for packing on Friday this week. Most of the parts are now completed on the car but we shall not receive the latest Smith Dynamo embodying all the alterations we have asked for until tomorrow.

The R.R. Petrol Level Indicator is working very nicely; it is possible to read it from 1 gallon, also the arrangement for the reserve tank appears to be satisfactory. We have not been able to obtain sylphon tubes for this fitting so are using the alternative - fibre washers. We received some stock-size sylphon tubes from america but they were much too large to suit our fitting.

The new wiring arrangement gives a very neat appearance and is very accessible for fuses.

We are afraid we shall not be able to keep our promise of taking the Car to West WitteringHenry Royce's home town before it is despatched.
We are, however, fitting up 6.EX (Mr. Royce's new car) with similar pieces to what are on 4.EX Car.

If it is convenient to Mr. Royce, I propose coming to
