Copy to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 1021 (4) Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RG.{Mr Rowledge}10/VS.{J. Vickers} Messrs. Christie-Tyler Ltd., Orchard Works, Rear of 197, High Street, Walford, HERTS. March 21st. 1944. For the attention of Mr. B.A. Christie. Dear Sir, Your letter of the 18th. inst., to hand. We note that you propose to carry out the suggestion made in our previous letter and will construct a pair of front seats that can be fitted as an alternative to one of our cars. We have been in touch with Messrs. Park Ward & Co., Ltd., who will provide the necessary facilities to enable you to carry out this work. They will also give you the date by which they require the original seats returned to meet their car delivery date. If you will arrange to despatch your proposed seats to this address we can fit them to the car as soon as the opportunity permits. We should, of course, like to have your quotation for this work just as soon as you have determined the details from our sample seats. We will then send you our covering order for this work. Yours faithfully, For Rolls-Royce Ltd., R.{Sir Henry Royce} GREENE. | ||
