-3- to the centre of the road as far as possible. Your memo. re. this, is very disappointing, as we have reported upon the job and asked for advice, which we have not received. We have not got the tackle here to dismantle the tube, or else we should have had a go at it long ago. We proposed taking the car to the Paris Depot, as soon as we have finished the mileage to tackle the job, and asked what were your views. I do not want the men idle here for two or three days whilst the car was away. Please let me know what you think is best. The leak is serious. [Signature] G.W.H. | ||
