RE. STANDARDISATION SHEET X.3612 3/11/22. FITTING GLEASON GEARS TO AXLES ON CHASSIS PRIOR TO 1700.

We return herewith copy of above Standardisation Sheet.

We have been into the question of Cost of this modification, and viewed from the point of the changeover being done in the Repair Department, the figures are as follows:-

If done during an overhaul, when Back Axle is being stripped. £9. 17. 6

If done specially. £13. 5. 0

It should be understood that the above figures are based on the specially low Establishment Charges applicable to the Repair Department. The new parts are of course on production basis.
