Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} c. to Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} X4263 EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}1/LG8.4.22. 6-GOSHAWK-11. X4265 X4086 Further to our EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}3/LG7.4.22. The side steering tube which we are sending as a spare for this car is fixed up with buffer springs at each end. The scheme of these buffer springs is a standard Goshawk-11 scheme i.e. N.sch.702 but the front end is now made the same as the rear end. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} has in hand a scheme of making up a side steering tube which is exactly the same in action as the 40/50 as instructed by Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} This we will try out experimentally as soon as made.
