X8040 BYS/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 2.4.25. **************** PISTON - "V" SERIES. **************** In confirming our previous memo where we agree that Casting E.73376 can be produced but not machined, we would like to add that Gudgeon Pin E.73206 will be satisfactory, on whatever Piston is produced, - whilst in addition, Piston Rings E.70440 24 off and E.70441 6 off per engine, which were ordered up originally, to the old Part List, will apparently be satisfactory for the new piston which will probably be brought in in the near future. The object of this memo is to make clear that the Piston Ring referred to should not be scrapped, and that Gudgeon ring can be worked upon as they will be satisfactory in any case. BY.{R.W.
