For the attention of A.Avison Esq. Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letter of the 1st. inst. and also for your hospitality to Mr. Biraben and the writer on the occasion of their recent visit to you. We shall shortly be sending to you two steel shafts for gear cutting and on these the gap will be 0.815 instead of the original 0.275. This increase is the maximum we can accommodate.
