For the attention of Mr. West.

Dear Sirs,

Referring to the writer's recent visit to your Works in which he reported the satisfactory results obtained with our Model X401. plug in his 3½ litre Bentley, particularly as regards slow running and absence of misfire on pick-up, and his promise to supply you with a set of these plugs for test. We have much pleasure in sending you under separate cover 6 Model X401. plugs, and would be much obliged if you would submit these to a road test on your 3½ litre Bentley.

We do not claim that these plugs will stand any more heat than the K.L.G. plugs you are using, but we do think that they will give more refined running.

We await your report on these plugs with interest.

Yours faithfully,

LODGE PLUGS LIMITED.
