SPARKING PLUGS REMOVED FROM BENTLEY CHASSIS NO.B29-AE. We have now tested these plugs and when examined two of them were found to have loose external mica washers. On one of these plugs the brass clamping nut had worked loose and the plug misfired at a pressure of 80 lbs/sq.in. All the other plugs were O.K. It is quite possible that these plugs would cause misfiring on the engine particularly if there was any moisture present. It should be noted that these plugs are not standard on the Bentley chassis and were only fitted on the first few chassis due to lack of adequate supplies from the K.L.G.Co.
