Royal London House, Finsbury Square LONDON E.C. 2 Dear Sirs:- We thank you for your letter of the 6th instant, and your appreciation of the Rolls Royce car delivered to your Managing Director. We can fully sympathize with your point of view regarding the use of lubricants of your manufacture by this Company, but would state, we have several other Rolls Royce owners who are interested in similar lubricants, and are equally disappointed at same not being standardized and recommended by this Company. We conducted a series of exhaustive tests at considerable expense, and finally standardized certain lubricants, the result being to-day it would be extremely difficult for us to re-open such tests and modify our existing arrangements - otherwise we should be pleased to have fallen in with your wishes. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS ROYCE LTD. Buyer. | ||
