re STERNS LIMITED

We have had several similar applications from Rolls owners, to which we have replied in the strain of letter attached.

If Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} and EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} are in agreement, I propose sending this communication through to BJ for his approval, (as it is London who are so keenly interested in the developments we have made with Price's Lubricants) and then pass the letter on to Messrs. Sterns.

If, however, Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} would care to test out supplies from Messrs. Sterns on the Continent next month, we can readily obtain samples, and modify our letter accordingly.

ROY.{Sir Henry Royce}

ENCLOSURE. Draft letter to Sterns Limited.
