Dear Sirs, re Order 82959 - 10.A3- Clutches We beg to acknowledge receipt of your valued Order as above, dated the 8th inst., covering the supply of two 10.A3 clutches in accordance with our Installation Drawing Sk.30604/2. From your order we understand that you desire driven plate having spring type flexible centre, but would advise that it is extremely difficult to determine correct rating of damper springs without carrying out road tests and accordingly we are arranging to supply with each clutch two driven plates marked 'A' and 'B' having damper springs of slightly varied capacity, and would ask you to advise us after tests have been carried out as to the most satisfactory type of plate so that we may standardize on same for production, should we be favoured with your further valued orders. Clutch thrust spring ratings are being based on torque output of 178 lbs. ft., in accordance with advice given to our representative. However, so that our records may be entirely complete regarding this application we would ask you to complete copies of enclosed Questionnaire Form, the information inserted, we assure you, will be treated in strict confidence.
