The above scheme shows the 1st Crossmember (rear), which is 32.000 from the C.L. of the Rear Axle, this position is necessary to suit the coachwork dept., as they require two spigoted holes for the rear body mounting. We also show the rear frame channel stiffeners which are necessary to reinforce the frame for carrying the rear shackle, and petrol tank support brackets. It is intended to spot weld the crossmember and side stiffeners to the frame channels. Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}/JD.{J. Draper - Frames} Original to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HH.
