PL.447 2nd Crossmember Wheel.

We attach to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HH's copy the original of 2nd Crossmember to suit revised position of Spare Wheel.

The above scheme shows the rear flanged edge of the 2nd Crossmember modified to suit the revised position of the side rear spare wheel in the boot.

The rear spare wheel and locker has been moved 2.000 to the R.H. side of the car from the centre line of the chassis, to permit the petrol tank to have a filler tube into the top of the tank. This obviates the necessity for vent pipes.

Apart from the modifications shown on PL.447, the 2nd Crossmember is as designed on PL.425.

Original to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HH.
Prints to Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HH. & Ashby.
