To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from BJ. Copy to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} Copy to BY Y3994 10,000 Miles Tests. With reference to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/LG17.1.28, confirming our conversation of yesterday, it will be of assistance in future if you will kindly send me with any standardisation sheet for modifications, which you consider need not necessarily be tested for 10,000 miles, a statement showing when the next car will be starting for 10,000 miles, why you consider a 10,000 miles test is unnecessary on that particular part and what would be the probable effect financially if we waited for the next 10,000 miles test, that is to say, whether it is a part which we should have to replace on cars being delivered in the meantime, or any other points which make its adoption particularly urgent.
