Thank you for your notes. The gear box seems to be giving you a lot of trouble. Grylls is calling in on his way back from Les Sables d'Olonne, make sure that he knows what design alterations are necessary. The peculiar thing is that the other boxes here are not working, at all badly.

What was wrong with the petrol pumps?

How do you account for the timing gear rattle being cured by altering the slipper? What was poundage before and after? - Note you are cooler with thermostats removed, do you consider cooling passable when these and the grille are removed, that is water only, realise carbs still give trouble.

Presume petrol pumps o.k. with filter moved.

Since the engine has got to be very flexibly mounted it will never stay in line with the gearbox. The tail bearing we find eliminates the roughness even when the two are not in line. Will you please confirm this. What is wrong with the
