X.3747. RE DESIGN FOR CARRYING SPARE WHEEL ON FOOTBOARDS. X.3633

I am attaching herewith copy of Sp{Mr Spinney}2/HW18.3.20, in regard to the design of the method of carrying a spare wheel, and have discussed the question as well with Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} who is of the opinion that Mr. Royce does want some slight modification.

I understand that Mr. Royce's modifications as mentioned by Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} are more or less in accordance with SP{Mr Spinney}'s note.

We whould like to have EX-new standardised design in view of the foregoing for this particular method of carrying a spare wheel, which we could issue to the coachbuilders. In the meantime we must carry on with the present scheme.
