NOTES ON MATTERS DISCUSSED DURING VISIT OF MESSRS. BARRINGTON AND HIVES TO WEST WITTERINGHenry Royce's home town ON 23rd INST.

SPARE WHEELS AND LUGGAGE. X.3633.

Mr. Royce wishes to fit the spare wheels on to the back of the car (not carry the luggage there) and design a suitable fitting to accomplish this.

The advantages of this are that we prevent excessive weights being carried by the rear and of the frame, and provide some protection for the petrol tank by reason of the presence of the spare wheels. The weights of the spare wheels hebps to make the car hold the road.
