In order that we may at once abandon the use of thick leaf type springs without further delay, it has been definitely decided to scrap the existing stock of thick leaf springs. Will you kindly see that in issuing springing instructions in the future that we immediately put this into force and revise any instructions we have made on chassis which are not actually built.
