To Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from BJ.10 [STAMP: REC'D MAY 30 1922] EU10/H30.5.22. SPRINGS. At a conference yesterday with R. {Sir Henry Royce} and C.J. it was decided that we should fit no more thick leaf springs to chassis the loss would not exceed £[strikethrough]. H173 Please inform those concerned and let me know the actual amount concerned and what it is intended to do with the excess springs - whether it is better to keep them as spares or to sell them. This matter will probably have to go before the Board. B.J. | ||
