1209. To Mr. Paskett. c. to EJJ. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell}3/JH.11.1.37. No.30 Test Bed. We understand that EJJ. has issued drawings for the rigging up of the first Wraith engine in the above test house. This engine is promised to be ready for test by the 14th or 15th, will you please make arrangements in order that the necessary tackle be ready by this date. It is necessary to run this engine with a 2400 brake, the present 2000 brake is too small for the job. As our spare 2400 brake is likely to be at Heenan & Froudes for some time we would like you to collect our new 2400 brake from Shardlow for the job. It is not likely that the Wraith will be on the bed for very long and in view of this we still wish to retain the existing Bentley bed arrangement without scrapping any of the parts.
