Requesting instructions for testing the Wraith engine, including a change of brake on the test bed.

WRAITH.

Will you please instruct for the necessary parts in order to test the above engine on the test bed, both the front engine suspension and the rear suspension taken off the gearbox being now.

Lec.5021 shows the layout of the front engine feet and N.Sch.4862 the gearbox end support.

The unit is to be tested in No.30 bed, and at the time of alteration to the bed we should like you to instruct that a DP x 4 (2400) brake be fitted in place of the existing DPX3 (2800) brake which is too small to pull the engine down to low speeds.

We have several times asked for a DPX4 on this bed without success.

The above jobs are very urgent as the first Wraith will be ready for test in a fortnight.
