To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} X7310. Mx{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer}2/T8.G.32. Phantom II Synchro Mesh Fabric Coupling Bolts. It has always been part of the routine at the completion of road testing to examine the fabric coupling bolts for tightness and carefully tighten them up where necessary. On the synchromesh box it is not possible to check the three bolts on which the nuts are fitted to the rear of the box. Do you now consider that if these bolts are tightened up initially that there is no need for the aforementioned procedure. | ||
