Lodge Plugs Limited,
Rugby.

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of the 8th inst. The X.335 plugs are now to hand and we are continuing the tests with the setting at .015" gap as you suggest.

We are able to confirm that the trouble has not occurred on our cars running endurance tests on the continent where Ethyl fuel is not used, under these conditions the plugs have done 7,000 miles without trouble.

We hope to be able to let you have some further information in the course of the next few weeks.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
