re. 20-HP. SHOCK ABSORBERS. - FILLING PLUG.

The position of the filling plug for the Shock Absorbers has been complained of on one or two occasions by Coachbuilders, and the following is a copy of a report received from our final complete car tester and inspector:-

"I have noted that the present position of the filling plug is most difficult of access when the rear mudguards are in position. The rear portion of the guard prevents free access. To make a hole through this portion of the guard does not improve the appearance & Coachbuilders are against such procedure.
Could not the filler plug be moved to the inside position, to be accessible from the inside of body, preferably through the rear seat boards. All seat boards are either made to open or are removable in order to get at the oil nipples for brake mechanism on rear axle."

I bring this to your notice, not because I think any immediate action is necessary, but we should no doubt be able to satisfy coachbuilders complaining of this feature by saying that the trouble will be overcome in future.
