COST REDUCTION.

There are two points that have at various times been discussed and to which we should like design attention to be given as soon as capacity is available.

(1) Petrol Filler.

This is too expensive, and we believe should only be necessary for custom built bodies, in which case the coachbuilders should buy the necessary parts from R.R. We should like Ev. {Ivan Evernden - coachwork} to say if we cannot have the Buick scheme.

(2) Clutch Operation.

It has been agreed that this is too complicated and that a simple scheme is possible. Can the design be pushed forward ?
