With further reference to your Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/LG5.5.28, I have seen the Chairman and he thinks the car you mention will just about suit him, as he would like to go abroad on the 14th June down as far as Spain and stay down there for two or three days and then return to somewhere on the main line, such as Avignon from whence he can return by train if necessary.

Will you please let me know if this is feasible.

Also, will you please let me know just what comfort there is. I have informed the Chairman that it is an Open body but he does not appear to mind that. Before he makes his plans, however, I would just like to be able to tell him just how uncomfortable it is likely to be, in case he wishes to change his mind.

C.
