Elec 6026- Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}7/JH. 2nd. February, 1940. C.W.Nichols Esq., S.Smith & Sons Ltd., Cricklewood Works, LONDON.N.W.2. Dear Mr.Nichols, Thank you for your letter dated 30th. January. We are now keeping a record of every electrical clock we have in use. There is one feature of this clock which I omitted to mention, that is it is noisy. You many smile at this but I can assure you we have often removed noises from our engines much less than this. I will, however, discuss the matter with Mr. Arrowsmith. You will be pleased to hear our Board have had the wisdom to go right ahead with car work during hostilities. Yours sincerely, | ||
