To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} X201 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}10/KW. 8.11.34. Bentley Front Axle Tramp. In connection with the experiments we are trying to cure this trouble we should like to be able to run 3-B-IV with pivot leans of 5°, 10°, and 15° more than at present. Will you therefore please put in hand wedges of these angles to go between the axle pad and the spring. We shall also require similar wedges to go between the axle pad and torque triangle in order to prevent having to use shorter shock absorber arms.
