BT{Capt. J. S. Burt - Engineer}/NS{Norman Scott} c. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 200b DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}18/C.26.1.38. File 1028 BENTLEY 111. FRONT BRAKE DRUMS. Referring to the lock restriction on the Bentley 111 Front Wheels due to the ribs on the alum. brake drums contacting with the bearing housing on the lower triangle lever, on setting it out it has been found that in combination with the modification to the yoke piece recently instructed, it is only necessary to move the outermost rib .050 to give clearance. This is shown on PD.102 herewith, and we suggest that the ribs on the details should be moved out and respaced as shewn here. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
