B.80 ENGINE IN WRAITH 80 CHASSIS - TOP WATER CONNECTION.

Please receive herewith F/14

E.CD.1239 Top Water Pipe - B.80 Engine in Wraith 80 chassis.

The water outlet connection from the top of the thermostat housing is the same as used when fitting the B.80 engine in the B.38 chassis shown on design E.CD.1238.

The inlet connection to radiator top tank is the same part as now, only its position is altered to improve the lining up of the rubber hose with the connection on the engine.

Will you please instruct for any further Wraith 80 radiators to have this revised position of the water inlet connection.

We are also issuing under a separate memo, drawings showing the water connections between the engine and the radiator, for use on the first Wraith 80 chassis, which is already in the Experimental Department, on which the connections on the radiator are not suitably positioned for coupling to the engine in a satisfactory manner.

The bottom tank and connections for future radiators should be produced as shown on E.CD.1091, which design has already been issued.
