10 HH r 125B. To By/Ald.{F. Allwood - Experimental Design} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell}1/MH.{M. Huckerby}15.3.39. Will you please scheme out the following:- (1) Adapting the Buick harmonic damper element for trial on the B.80 unit without any alteration to the nose of the crank. In conjunction with the above, we should like extra inertia rings to be tried, one giving 50% and the other 100% increased inertia. (2) Drawing of Aerolite piston EB.3916 with grooves modified in accordance with the attached sketch as submitted by Hepworth & Grandage to suit special rings they are supplying to us.
